Appelmans, title-p. with printers device, portrait of author, 119 (of 121) engravings (partly folding and some halfp.), some figs. in text, (27), 806, (12) pp. The pp. 251/52 and 289/90 (Tabula XLVIII & XLIII) containing 2 engravings of the female genital parts removed by former priest-owners (as appears from annotation on first endpaper) (binding rubbed, old title label on foot of spine, 2 library stamps on title-p. pp. 281-293 dampst. in lower part, else fine and clean copy). Near Fine. A considerably amended edition, containing the material left by Caspar Bartholinus, Thomas' father, and including new discoveries made by Thomas.
